Overview

Lagos is a city in southern Portugal, in the Algarve region. It is known for the fortress walls of the Old City, cliffs and beaches of the Atlantic Ocean. A wooden staircase leads down to the sandy bay of Camilo. The nearby cliffs and the Ponta da Piedade lighthouse offer scenic views of the surroundings. Opposite the Castle of Rulers with a Baroque facade and watch towers is the exquisite church of St. Anthony of the 18th century.

Southwesternmost point of Portugal Cape St. Vincent is in five kilometers away from Sagres. Cabo de São Vicente was the last piece of land portuguese sailors saw before leaveing into unknown.

Your tour will conclude in San Francisco on Day 8 of the trip. There are no activities planned for this day so you're free to depart at any time. We highly recommend booking post-accommodation to give yourself time to fully experience the wonders of this iconic city!

Day 1 of this tour is an arrivals day, which gives you a chance to settle into your hotel and explore Los Angeles. The only planned activity for this day is an evening welcome meeting at 7pm, where you can get to know your guides and fellow travellers. Please be aware that the meeting point is subject to change until your final documents are released.
